Major General Michael Fahey USMC (Ret.)
Major General Michael Fahey USMC (Ret.) retired on 01 August 2022 from thirty-five years of service in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. His final assignment was the Commanding General, 4th Marine Division, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Reserve, New Orleans, Louisiana. While serving as a General Officer, he was the Deputy for Operations, the Office of the Defense Representative Pakistan (ODRP), Commanding General, Force Headquarters Group, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Reserve, Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South in Miami, Florida. He has commanded at every level from Platoon to Division during his service in the Marines. He is a combat veteran that has served in Operation DESERT SHIELD/ DESERT STORM and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
In his civilian career, he has served Orange County, California as an Employee Benefits Consultant for the past twenty-seven years. He has advised small to medium sized companies better utilize their employee benefit budgets. He has also been a leader and advisor to companies on the implementation of online employee benefits platforms for the management of plans. Mike’s vast leadership experience in both the military and civilian sector make him a key member of LAW Asset Management’s Advisory Board.
He is a graduate of the University of San Diego, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master in Liberal Arts with a focus on Management from Harvard University Extension School, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and a Masters of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
